Procedure
How a crankshaft leaves our yard
A used crankshaft is only as good as the report that travels with it. Every crankshaft in stock goes through four checks before we call it reusable, and the report ships with the part. The same discipline applies to heads, liners, rods and pumps: report on request.
13 crankshafts in stock- 1CalibrationEvery main journal and crank pin measured and recorded against the maker's STD and undersize tables.
- 2HardnessHardness test on every journal and pin surface. Values on the report.
- 3MPI crack testMagnetic particle inspection under UV light on all journals, pins and fillets. Non-destructive.
- 4Run-outCrankshaft set on V-blocks on two main journals and rotated under a dial gauge to check straightness.
Geography
Four floors on one coast
Alang is 40 km down the road, so machinery comes off a hull and onto our floor the same day. The Kandla SEZ floor is bonded and duty-free, so export stock leaves for Mundra without customs duty. That geography is why we quote from stock and ship the same week.

Haroon and Faruk Gundigara started buying machinery off hulls at Alang in 1994. Two generations later the firm holds 84 lines across engines, gensets and spares, runs its own inspection service, and puts gensets to work on turnkey, EPC and rental terms with output responsibility.
